I can't believe that set is about to be 22 years old! It seems like yesterday I was chasing that same Argenis Salazar card you pulled to finish the set. Back before any of us had these computer things in our house. Is it too soon to start calling 87 Topps vintage?
I say when the cards smell like old newspapers, like these Topps did when I opened them, that's vintage. I can't believe it was 22 years ago when my first pack of '87 Topps got me hooked. Felt like it was yesterday.
Frank DiPino, that's a name I remember. He was the most deliberate pitcher I have ever seen in person (pitching in AAA Omaha in the early 90's).
