The Pirates haven't had a winning season since I was 16. They haven't been in a pennant race since '97. As a cynical Succos fan I'm not holding my breath but I will say they have a good young team and might hover close to 80 wins. But I say that every spring. I'll be watching the Bucs/Cards game and chatting live in the comments if anyone wants to join me...

One thing I'll say right off is I'm glad they got rid of the sleeveless jerseys. I didn't like 'em. If they bring back the script "Pittsburgh" I'll be in heaven. I wonder what their home duds look like this year.
Hmmm. Andy LaRoche sure seems sloppy at third. I love how they got him to keep Adam LaRoche happy and got rid of Joey Bats who was actually decent at third.
Feels weird to watch the Pirates and not hear Lanny Frattere. I like the new FSN graphics though.
Ever tried any of the retired Pirates ttm? They have an alumni association which forwards there mail so you don't need to look up addresses
I havent' done any TTM but someday I might it's seems like a lot of fun.

Heck of a comeback, unfortunately I missed it. I followed up to Ludwick's HR, then had to commute home! Too bad. Nice job Pirates!
